What this endpoint does

List evidence-stream alerts and acknowledgement state.

When to use it

Review newest owner-scoped evidence alerts and their acknowledgement lifecycle before inspecting the referenced stream, source, event, or rule.

Read-only projection; it grants no mutation, settlement, traffic, or authority change.

Gives people and agents a contract-backed way to reconcile alerts.

ISOLATION + AUTHORITY

Schema, source, signer, stream, event, payload, sequence, validation, quarantine, alert, acknowledgement, retention, and business-outcome authorities remain distinct. Evidence visibility or cryptographic validity does not by itself prove semantic truth, regulatory acceptance, settlement, or authorization for an external action.

OPERATIONAL NOTES

Security and lifecycle guarantees

Use stable stream/event/rule identifiers to correlate the alert with evidence and policy configuration. The list excludes the arbitrary evaluated-value detail blob and actor identifiers.
An alert records a rule match; it does not prove the measured condition is true or authorize a response. Refresh the linked event chain and applicable rule before consequential action.
Acknowledgement and resolution mutations remain planned. total is the number in this bounded response, not a count of every historical alert.
